This Fall/Winter OTT takes you on an enriching journey through the depths of the African jungle, with a memorizing contemporary reinterpretation of traditional ethnic designs.
This season’s collection is symbolic of a bold tribal love affair, a cross-cultural concoction with fabric sourced from the heart of Africa. The collection resonates a consistent jungle revived theme boasting a combination of animalistic prints including bird, python, cheetah and zebra. Embroidery elaborately created with a variety of vibrant African beads, seashells and animal teeth shaped stones in keeping with the ethos of the Masai group.
Staying true to their eccentric and bold designs this season OTT has taken a fresh approach to their collection. By incorporating earthy hues and dusty browns with an infusion of bold exotic prints, as well as exciting touches of Mongolian lamb fur and Swan feather jackets.
OTT has combined modern craftsmanship and traditional fabrics from Africa, by sourcing Bògòlanfini or “mud cloth" a handmade Malian cotton fabric traditionally hand painted. The Mud cloth is held dear in Malian culture identity therefore OTT has vowed every piece sold money will be donated to purchase meals for orphans in Africa.
